Established in 2019, Essex Clear Ears is a proudly independent and family-run hearing care centre based in Rayleigh, Essex.
We pride ourselves on our clinical expertise, but also our friendly and welcoming approach. Specialising in hearing tests, hearing aid advice, and ear wax removal through microsuction, our services are fully personalised to the needs of each and every patient we work with.
Our founder, Mitch Chandler, is an advanced audiologist with over two decades of experience gained in both the NHS and private practice.
Mitch’s aim to offer experienced, professional, and fully accessible ear care to those who need it most is the foundation of our practice. As such, we regularly volunteer our services in the local community.
We’re extremely proud that the majority of our business comes from personal recommendation, and you’ll always find us willing to answer questions or offer advice.
In addition to our purpose-built Rayleigh clinic, we perform our ear wax removal services from clinical locations in Hadleigh, Leigh-on-Sea, and Thorpe Bay. We can also conduct home visits on request.

Whether you need monthly or annual microsuction, a hearing test, or advice about a new hearing aid, we offer a trusted and fully personalised service that many of our patients happily recommend.
We use the latest audiological equipment to conduct full hearing assessments at our Rayleigh clinic. We also provide a full aftercare package, with a loyalty scheme for regular patients.
